Valla 2012

Three oclock in the morning was way too early to get up, but it was for Valla weekend, so you are forgiven Rob.

We met at Thornleigh Maccas as usual, and headed up the coast to Valla Beach. No dramas on the run up, which was great. Weather was for the most part great, and the beach and pool were fantastic.  

Tezza came later due to work, and was unfortunately nicked by the Cops. The GT Club Inc marquee was the place to gather for other club members as well, which says a lot about the welcoming atmosphere created by the residents. Sunday morning we headed to Nambucca Heads for lunch. Its a beautiful spot, and we will definitely return for some camping there.

 

Some of the highlights were:

Stempys arm wrestling. After a few lagers macho Stempy appeared, and after a fair bit of flexing, he challenged all and sundry to an arm wrestle. He was also the holder of the Fist Of Fury!

Stevies Toll gate: Stevie controlled who was allowed past The GT Club Inc turf, sometimes soliciting fees from random passersby.

Trophy wins: Ollie Macedons XBGT Coupe, Nick and Robs auction wins.

The GT Club Inc being confirmed as permanent Committee members.

Yep, another fantastic weekend away with our mates, and making new friends along the way. Thanks to everyone who came, it was truly a top weekend!
