13th Falcon GT Nationals 2009
Friday 10th - 13th April 2009

Well what can I say after all of that great to see that so many recorded the event, in pictorial form.

Firstly let me thank The Falcon GT Club of South Australia inc, for a magnificent GT Nationals and inviting "The GT Club inc" to attend and participate.

My contact was mainly Sean (BB Coupe) and Hue Westp' top guys and great to meet them in person. Thanks again on behalf of The GT Club.

I had some unsettling news on the way down (just family stuff) but I was on a mission and that was to represent and present "The GT Club inc" to Australia.

Our members conduct was absolutely marvelous, everyone was on their best behavior, and dressed to kill in their black GT Club shirts, I was so proud it helped me deal with and keep my mind off some personal matters.

I would like to thank all The GT Club members who attended, even those who flew down wearing their Club Shirts to the event, one thing is for sure who ever doubted The GT Clubs resolve saw first hand that we are as serious as a heart-attack. When it comes to being passionate about OUR club.

Welcome to our new members that joined at the Nationals, most stating that The GT Club is the breath of fresh air that they had been waiting for.

To mention some Leo K well his name and collection precedes him as one of if not the most prominent collector of GT's in Australia. I was humbled when Leo asked Tim how do I join your club, recognition of "OUR" club by true enthusiasts is testament to perseverance with our no bull family friendly social car club direction.

Bob Dunlop a renowned identity in the GT movement and also a genuine enthusiast. Welcome.

To the winners and the entrants congratulations and remember The GT Club philosophy. Your Car is your TROPHY.

I will do a spread on who won trophies on presentation night and a break down on how dominant our club members were at the 2009 Nationals.

Congratulations to Craig on his win and a thank you to his wife for her hospitality. Great inter club spirit. You did the FGTOCNSWinc proud on both counts.

Congrats to my long time friend Adrian Powell, well deserved award given to a true enthusiast of the "GT" in our country as we know the "GT"...67-76.

I have offered our help to BOB the QLD president, in anyway he needs it in the organisation of the 2011 "GT" Nationals. We will be there with bells on.
Yours truly,
Rob
